Top 3 Anti-poaching Technologies of 2018

This video by UN Environment features three of the most exciting anti-poaching innovations of 2018. In South Africa GPS trackers developed by the Sigfox Foundation are being used to track rhino horns. In Costa Rica scientists with PasoPacifico are 3D printing decoy sea turtle eggs to find out where they are being sold. And in the UK researchers are using crime scene methods to identify poachers fingerprints on pangolin scales.

22-year Sea Level Rise

This visualization shows total sea level change between 1992 and 2014, based on data collected from the TOPEX/Poseidon, Jason-1 and Jason-2 satellites. Blue regions are where sea level has gone down, and orange/red regions are where sea level has gone up. Since 1992, seas around the world have risen an average of nearly 3 inches.
